Dr. Amir heads Infrastructure and Climate Practice at IIHS. With nearly 25 years of professional experience, his expertise spans multiple engineering roles, and as a climate and energy policy researcher and practitioner. Amir holds a PhD in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and a degree in electrical engineering from IIT Roorkee.
He teaches Infrastructure Systems and Development Economics at the postgraduate level and has mentored nearly 50 young researchers.
