Dr. Priyadarshini Karve (Ph.D. Physics, 1998) has developed and implemented biomass energy technologies, climate adaptation and mitigation interventions, and climate change education tools in a professional career spanning 25 years. She has co-founded two green enterprises in India and several national and international associations working on renewable energy and climate action. She is also working as a visiting faculty with several educational institutions. Her work has been honoured by national and international awards and recognitions. In 2023, she was featured in a book on 75 Indian women science luminaries, published by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
