FOREIGN TRAINING DETAILS: USA (San Diego Zoo Washington and Smithsonian’s Zoo) and Tanzania (Serengeti National Park) for training in Wildlife Management and Protected Area organized by Govt. of Chhattisgarh from 15th December 2016 to 27thDecember 2016. Brazil (Rio) and Argentina (Buenos Aires) for training in Co-operatives of rural producers organized by Govt. of Chhattisgarh from 12th November 2017 to 20th November 2017.CONFERENCES / SEMINARS/ EVENTS Organized Chhattisgarh State Climate Change Conclave 2024 on 5th & 6th March 2024, as the Nodal officer for Chhattisgarh State Centre for Climate Change to discuss best practices across the Nation, bring forward the community voices. The Conclave gave platform for more than 15 state representatives and national institutes to gather under one roof and discuss various of Climate Change. Attended International Seminar on the topic “Enhancing Ecosystem Services by Improving Forest Quality and Productivity, and SLEM Knowledge Dissemination” organized by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education between 22nd -23rd March 2023 at Dehradun, India. Attended National Climate Conclave 2023 Organized by MoEF&CC, Govt. of India and Department Environment Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and Addressed the topic of “Financing requirement for Agro forestry interventions in Chhattisgarh” between 10th-11th April 2023. Attended Asia Action Summit 2023 on the topic of Regional Climate Actions organised by the Under2 Coalition London on 8thJune 2023 at Singapore. Attended International Conference on Carbon Neutrality 2023 at Korea on 5th & 6th October 2023. The Climate Group got actively engaged in the Carbon Neutrality International Conference held in Chungnam Province, South Korea. Presented Paper in the International Workshop on Enhancing Ecosystem Services by improving Forest Quality and productivity and SLEM Knowledge Dissemination at Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 22nd-24 March 2023 organised by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education. Organized a First Ever Bird Festival in the State of Chhattisgarh with an aim to create awareness towards conservation and protection of National and International Migratory birds coming to Chhattisgarh, to connect people with birds and to boost our natural environment,31st January to 2nd Feb 2021. Organized a Conservation Assessment and Management Prioritization (CAMP) workshop for Medicinal Plants of Chhattisgarh, 2022. Organized a National Conference in collaboration with Hidayatullah National Law University on the topic “Protection of Traditional Knowledge and Biodiversity: Problems and Prospects on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day on 27-28 July 2022.
