Lokendra Thakkar is working in the field of Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change for last 37 years.

Presently he is State Coordinator, GoMP State knowledge Management Centre on Climate Change (SKMCCC) at EPCO, Department of Environment GoMP.
He is also Incharge of the State Wetland Authority of GoMP and currently holding the charge of Principle EPCO Institute of Environmental Studies.

Lokendra  is a Fellow of Internationally prestigious Fellowship program LEAD India from Cohort-6.

He is also Lead present and Mentor of former Vice President of US Mr Al Gore’s, Climate Reality Movement which is an international campaign on climate change

A broadcaster and communicator by aptitude Mr. Thakkar has been actively associated with broadcasting as news reader and anchor for more than twenty seven years.
