Dr. Sreekala PP is an accomplished scientist with a PhD in Space Technology and a Master’s degree in Meteorology. Recognized for excellence in research and innovation, she has received prestigious honors, including the DS Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University Grants Commission of India and the Best Participant Award at the SERC School on Aviation Meteorology. With extensive expertise in climate modeling and data analysis, she is proficient in programming languages such as FORTRAN and Python and skilled in tools like GRADS, MATLAB, and WRF. These technical proficiencies are complemented by significant experience in General Circulation Models (Varsha) and Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) models. Dr. Sreekala is known for strong communication and teamwork abilities, demonstrated through active involvement in organizing seminars and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects. This dedication to both independent and collaborative work has led to notable achievements, including qualifying for the CSIR-NET in Earth Sciences and earning the Best Poster Award at INTROMET-2017.
